Bruce D. Williams, M. Div., LMHC,  is accepting new clients at this time.  He is a licensed mental health counselor who has over 25 years of experience as in individual, couple, and family therapist.  He is especially sensitive to those who have had losses of any kind and are coping with sadness, sorrow, or grief.

Bruce's areas of special interest are grief counseling and helping those coping with depression, anxiety, life transitions or other adjustments to change, faith/spirituality issues, relationship disconnection, existential struggles, and being victims/survivors of domestic abuse/violence.

Bruce's clients value his exceptional listening skills and his ability to make each person feel worthwhile and important.  He finds it very important to hear a person's story, and he honors that story as he helps people find ways to have more meaningful, healthy, and productive lives.

In addition to being a licensed mental health counselor, Bruce is certified as a Fellow in the   American Association of Pastoral Counselors and is an ordained minister in The United Church of Christ, a mainline Protestant denomination.  While he has been a psychotherapist for the majority of his professional career, he has also been an officer in the United States Air Force, a hospital chaplain, a parish pastor, and a teacher/trainer.
